At Engineering Appliances we have developed a mass of experience in specialist welding processes and associated applications as a result we now have a facility based in the south east capable of producing high quality welded components in an array of materials.

Tungsten Inert Gas welding (TIG):

EA has a wealth of experience in carrying out specialized joints using this process and working with a wide field of materials ranging from plain carbon steels to stainless steels plus more exotic high Nickel alloys. With qualified personnel and the latest in TIG welding Equipment EA can offer a solution to your TIG welding needs.

Metal inert Gas welding (MIG):

A semi automatic process that can offer a time and money saving alternative to TIG on large batch quantities. Again as with all our welding solutions experienced and qualified personnel are at hand with the latest in synergic equipment. Depending on the application EA can also offer the ability to utilise flux core wires.

Manual metal arc welding (MMA or Stick):

An old and highly respected process within the oil and gas industry, again with a vast experience in the application of this process on a wide range of materials stick welding of highest quality can be offered at EA utilising all electrode types ranging from basic to double rutile.

EA can also utilise our experince and qualified personnel to offer a welding consultancy service to assist you in areas such as procedure writing, consumable selection and joint design.
